Matt is a Director, Impact Advisory based in the Austin office. Matt has spent close to a decade helping the public sector partner with philanthropy and industry to pilot and scale innovative workforce programs. His clients include state governments and Good Jobs Challenge awardees who are investing hundreds of millions of dollars into creating reliable career pathways. Core to his work is unlocking wage data and using this information to drive actionable insights into the non-degree programs and supports that drive placement and retention. In New York, for example, he manages a statewide community of practice of 20+ workforce programs, all preparing members of underserved communities for infrastructure careers.
Prior to Social Finance, Matt was a consultant with Deloitte, where he supported clients like Pfizer and M&T Bank in piloting digital technologies like blockchain and robotic process automation. He graduated from the University of Virginia where he was designated a Global Commerce Scholar for his research on social impact bonds.
