I love the diversity of projects I get to work on—I'm always learning something new and building different skillsets. Plus, I’m constantly floored by how much people here care about you and are intentional about your development.

I started my career at Social Finance as an Associate. The level of autonomy we have to build relationships with partners is really great for growth. I was also surprised by the level of openness to different ideas—this is a new field, so you can’t be afraid to share your ideas.

Your Career Journey

At Social Finance we care about you. Our investment in you is just as important as the work we do. Impact investing, advisory, and functional roles align on a similar journey throughout your career here.

Our Culture

Our people are at the center of all that we do. We strive to create an environment where every individual on our team can comfortably bring their full selves to work each day and have a work-life balance that meets their needs. Our culture reflects this mentality:

  • We follow a hybrid model in which we encourage our teammates to be together in the office at least two to three days a week, but to otherwise work from home the other days and on an ad-hoc basis as needed. Each office has one defined “anchor day” each week (voted by each office) on which all affiliated employees come into the office; the other in-office days are free choice days that each employee chooses for themselves week to week.
  • Learning is a priority. Whether it’s through weekly all-staff meetings, Knowledgefests, or class conversations, transparency and knowledge sharing are core to our culture.
  • We love our firm traditions and like to have fun together, from trivia to potlucks to an annual offsite!
  • We celebrate the little things, like birthdays, anniversaries, and wins on projects, and encourage frequent shoutouts and recognition.
  • Casual dress every day.
