Vinesh Kapil is an Associate Director at Social Finance, where he focuses on impact investing.
Prior to joining Social Finance, Vinesh worked across public and private markets, in both domestic and international settings. Most recently, he worked as a venture capital investor at Touchdown Ventures, where he managed the $150M AmerisourceBergen Health Ventures Fund. He began his career at The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he supported the Saving Lives at Birth fund, a $100M portfolio investing in maternal and neonatal health innovation. He also worked at CVS Health, where he led the design and roll-out of various digital health products and helped launch the first CVS Health Design Lab.
Outside of work, Vinesh founded and runs the Society for Early Entrepreneurs, a volunteer program providing entrepreneurial education to high school students. Vinesh graduated from Duke University, where he earned an MBA, BA in International Comparative Studies, and minor in Global Health.
Ensuring economic systems work for everyone should be a universal imperative. I'm grateful to have the chance to mobilize capital in meaningful ways at Social Finance.
