Matt’s work is focused on standing up new public-private partnerships to test and scale innovative approaches to workforce development. He oversees a $25 million portfolio, including a partnership with New York State to scale clean energy job training in disadvantaged communities, and a pilot with the City of San Antonio and local employers to create career pathways for low-income residents to secure jobs in IT, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare.
Prior to Social Finance, Matt was a consultant with Deloitte, where he supported clients in piloting digital technologies like blockchain and robotic process automation. He holds a BS in Commerce and a minor in Global Sustainability from the University of Virginia, where he was designated a global commerce scholar for his research on social impact bonds.
