Ivy Brewer is an Assistant General Counsel at Social Finance based in Washington, DC. She supports the development, structuring, and execution of outcome-based financings that bridge the public, private, and non-profit sectors to drive social progress and address society’s most pressing challenges.

Prior to Social Finance, Ivy was corporate counsel at Amentum, where her work concentrated on corporate transactions, corporate governance, complex foreign business registrations, joint ventures, and government contracting. Ivy’s additional professional background includes supply chain management at Pratt & Whitney; higher education administration at the World Learning School for International Training; community impact and capacity building as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) at Georgia Center for Nonprofits and the United Way of Camden County; international education as a cultural auxiliary in Madrid, Spain; and grant proposal research at World Vision.

Ivy graduated with an MBA from Howard University School of Business and a JD from Howard University School of Law. Ivy earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy University, where she focused on Nonprofit Management, and a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University, where she double-majored in International Studies and Political Science.
