More than 90%Career placement rate for SUNY Maritime College graduates

Social Finance is partnering with the State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Impact Foundation, and SUNY Maritime College to design and launch a new SUNY Maritime Pay It Forward Fund. This Fund will provide student-friendly, outcomes-based loans to students to cover their costs for attending the Summer Sea Term, a programmatic requirement for earning a U.S. Coast Guard license which entails cadets accruing at least 180 days at sea.

Social Finance is excited to be launching this initiative and looks forward to the positive impact it plans to have on SUNY students.
