Mariam is an Associate Director at Social Finance, working with the advisory services and impact finance teams. She also formally oversees the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Mariam was previously an Associate at EY-Parthenon in Singapore, where she supported clients from the private equity, wildlife and conservation, and consumer-goods space to conduct new investment due diligence and develop growth and optimization strategies.
She is especially passionate about working in the Reproductive Health and Family Planning space. Mariam both created a sex/consent education card game and ran a seminar on sexual assault prevention for Colgate University students.
Mariam graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University with a B.A. in Women’s Studies and Economics.
I am eager to continue embedding community voices into our work because it is essential to achieving our mission more effectively!
