Lucas Fried is a Senior Associate at Social Finance, where he partners with state and local governments to create high-quality, participant-centered programs, with a focus on housing, homelessness, and early childhood.
Previously, Lucas worked at Bennett Midland, a NYC-based consultancy, where he supported the United Way of NYC to scale a national health equity program. He also worked with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Child Care and Early Childhood Education to update their citywide strategic plan and helped coordinate capacity-building on data for city governments across Canada, Latin America, and the U.S. Lucas has also supported the Homes RI Coalition, the Rhode Island Center for Justice, and RI Housing on eviction diversion and worked on a homeless outreach team.
Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Economics from Brown University and is a proud alum of the Sofra Bakery counter staff team.
