Lucas is an Associate at Social Finance in the Washington, D.C. office. He works on projects across a variety of issue areas, drawing from his experience supporting nonprofits, foundations, and local governments in previous roles.
Previously, Lucas worked at Bennett Midland, a NYC-based consultancy, where worked with the United Way of NYC to scale a national health equity program. He also supported the NYC Mayor’s Office of Child Care and Early Childhood Education to update their citywide strategic plan for early childhood and helped design and run the Bloomberg Philanthropies City Data Alliance. Lucas has also supported the Homes RI Coalition, the Rhode Island Center for Justice, and RI Housing on eviction prevention during COVID-19. He was also a member of a homeless outreach team with a Rhode Island based nonprofit.
Lucas holds a bachelor’s in Public Policy and Economics from Brown University and is a proud alum of the Sofra Bakery counter staff team.
