Liz Lempres

Liz Cahill Lempres is a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, a global management consultancy. During her 28 year tenure, she worked on strategy, organization, and performance improvement issues across industries in over 20 countries. She led McKinsey’s Global Consumer and Retail practice and the Global Private Equity Practice, was the Managing Partner of the Boston Office, and served on McKinsey’s Board of Directors. Ms. Lempres has been active in people issues throughout her career. She led McKinsey’s partner election and performance evaluation process globally and its global Women’s Initiative.

In addition to Social Finance, Ms. Lempres currently serves on the boards of General Mills, Great-West Lifeco, Axalta, and Culligan International. She is also a trustee of Dartmouth College and a member of the Dartmouth Thayer School of Engineering Board of Advisors.

Ms. Lempres graduated cum laude with an AB in Engineering from Dartmouth College and earned her BE at the Dartmouth Thayer School of Engineering. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School where she was designated a Baker Scholar. She and her husband, Marty Lempres, live in Boston and have three children.
