Justin Bakule is Vice President, Impact Investments at Social Finance, where he works with corporations and impact investors to build economic mobility opportunities for underserved populations.

Justin’s prior experience has primarily been focused on building strategies at the intersection of social and environmental issues and corporate interests. He was formerly the Vice President of Networks at Ceres, where he oversaw a network of approximately 180 institutional investors and their engagement with around 50 Fortune 500 companies. He was previously a Managing Director at FSG, where he built shared value strategies for companies operating in Cote d’Ivoire, Haiti, Chile, and the Mississippi Delta. Within FSG, he also founded and was the inaugural executive director of the Shared Value Initiative, a community of shared value practitioners that engages corporations, nonprofits, and governments around the world in the advancement of shared value strategies. Earlier in his career, Justin was a strategy consultant for PwC Consulting and also served in the United States Peace Corps in Gao, Mali.

Justin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
