Yiping Li is a Senior Associate of Data Analytics at Social Finance.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Yiping was a Presidential Management Fellow at the National Institute of Justice in the U.S. Department of Justice, where she provided technical, policy, and writing support to the NIJ Director and conducted research on a range of criminal justice topics. Yiping also conducted a quasi-experimental evaluation for ideas42 on the impact of court-date reminders and produced a report on the best practices for practitioners interested in adopting such a reminder program. At the beginning of her career, Yiping worked at J-PAL North America at MIT, where she led the crime and violence prevention portfolio and helped state and local governments with designing randomized evaluations to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-poverty policies.

Yiping holds a Bachelor in psychology and a language citation in Latin from Harvard College. She also holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
