Stefan Rajiyah

Stefan Rajiyah is a Senior Assistant General Counsel at Social Finance. He supports the Impact Investments team and advises on other corporate legal matters.

Prior to Social Finance, Stefan was an associate at Morrison Foerster in both its Social Enterprise & Impact Investing and M&A groups where he represented private foundations, public charities and institutional investors in acquisitions, sales, asset purchases and early- and late-stage financings. In addition, Stefan advised clients in optimizing for impact via corporate structure, including through the use of public benefit entities, hybrid for-profit/non-profit structures and other alternative structures. Prior to Morrison Foerster, Stefan was an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz where he represented public and private companies in M&A, capital markets and shareholder activism matters.

Stefan earned his J.D. from New York University and completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University. He lives in Jersey City, NJ with his wife and daughter, and is an ice cream and Star Wars enthusiast.
