Noorjit Sidhu is an Associate Director, Impact Investments based in Social Finance’s San Francisco office. In this role, he focuses on the firm’s workforce and education funds.

Previously, Noorjit spent eight years as an institutional venture capital & private equity investor, investing in over two dozen startups with a concentration in education, workforce, healthcare, climate, and AI, including The Athletic (acquired by The NYT), StockX, Hippo (NASDAQ: HIPO), Tractable AI, The Princeton Review, Albert, Terraformation, and You.com. In addition, he has taught business and law classes as an Adjunct at UC Berkeley and Saint Mary’s College. Noorjit started his career in law working for organizations like The World Bank.

He currently resides in the East Bay with his high school sweetheart/wife, German Shepherd dogs, Calico cats, and 1-year-old son (who has quickly learned to weaponize his 1 tooth).

I'm excited about the creativity Social Finance has brought in structuring financial products to make a positive impact, and how the organization is continuing to innovate on its model through the Social Finance Institute and Impact First Fund.
