Nadine Abraham is a Director of Impact Advisory at Social Finance, where she leads projects aimed at improving outcomes for children and families. Her work focuses on enhancing program effectiveness through strategic planning, data-driven insights, and innovative solutions. Nadine brings an appreciation and understanding of how issue areas intersect, having worked across our portfolio — including in education, workforce development, homelessness, mental health, and impact investing.
Nadine brings 15 years of experience working in education and strategic organizational management. Before joining Social Finance, she served as a Portfolio Manager in the Education Grantmaking team at the One8 Foundation, where she supported high-performing nonprofits in scaling their impact across the state and collaborated with schools / districts to implement these initiatives. Prior to that, she was the Chief of Strategy and Operations at a charter school network in Massachusetts, and a Director at the District Management Group, an education consulting firm partnering with K-12 schools nationwide to enhance educational outcomes.
Nadine began her career at Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, where she specialized in improving strategic operations and organizational design for financial services firms.
With over 15 years of volunteer experience, Nadine is also deeply committed to mentoring. She has dedicated five years to the Big Brother Big Sister Program, nearly a decade to Eye to Eye, a nonprofit supporting students with learning differences, and currently volunteers with Silver Linings Mentoring Program, which mentors foster youth.
Nadine graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. from Wellesley College and majored in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.
What draws me most to this work is Social Finance’s mission of working across public, private and social sectors to solve systemic issues. I am excited every day to develop new and innovative ways to tackle complex challenges…and I could not imagine a more supportive and talented group of colleagues to work with!
