Matthias Argenyi is an Associate Director, Impact Investments at Social Finance, based in New York. Matthias supports impact investments made through innovative fund structures, such as the Impact First Fund, and has led performance management for outcomes-based programs including Anchorage Home for Good.
Prior to his current role, Matthias worked at Ownership Works, where he partnered with private equity funds to design and implement broad-based employee ownership plans within portfolio companies. He began his career at Garde Capital as a Portfolio Manager, advising high-net-worth and institutional clients on ESG-integrated investment strategies.
Matthias holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Horace W. Goldsmith and RISE Fellow. He graduated with a B.A. from Whitman College where he studied Mathematics-Economics. He is also a CFA charterholder.
