Kyle Doran

Kyle is a Director at Social Finance, where he works with partner organizations across sectors to conceptualize, design, and implement outcomes-based contracts and other innovative funding and financing tools.

Prior to Social Finance, Kyle directed policy research and strategic planning projects for social impact organizations with Freedman Consulting. At Freedman, he led efforts across a range of issue and functional areas, including workforce development and the labor market, public interest technology, government innovation, and agricultural policy.

Prior to that, Kyle was on the data team for both President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign in Iowa and the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee. Kyle served in the Peace Corps in Armenia, where he taught English as a foreign language, ran extracurricular programming, and helped advance civil society initiatives in the village of Vaghashen. Previously, he did field work for President Obama’s 2008 campaign in Alaska and Ohio.

Kyle earned a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government & Law from Lafayette College.
