Kara Murray is an Associate, Impact Advisory at Social Finance.
Before joining the Social Finance team, Kara worked in the Supportive Housing Division of the Mayor’s Office of Housing for the City of Boston. In this role, she oversaw a portfolio of rapid re-housing, permanent supportive housing, and emergency shelter grants to support people experiencing homelessness. Previously, she was a fellow in the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics at the City of Boston.
Kara graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in History. She is a proud resident of Boston and loves exploring the city’s beautiful green spaces.
