Chioma Ayogu

Chioma Ayogu is a Senior Assistant General Counsel at Social Finance, based in Washington, DC. She advises the organization on a broad range of corporate, compliance and general contract matters, helping ensure that Social Finance operates in compliance with its legal obligations. She also supports the Public Sector team.

Previously, Chioma Ayogu served as a Senior Counsel at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) where she advised on impact investment projects, public-private partnerships, contracts and grants, and environmental compliance. Prior to that, she advised on regulatory compliance and government contracts and grants for the US Department of Transportation.

Chioma holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S. in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she was a John Carroll Scholar. Chioma is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and member of the Supreme Court Bar.
