On August 17, 2022, Hudson County Community College hosted a launch event for the New Jersey Pay It Forward Program, a joint initiative of Governor Phil Murphy, the State of New Jersey, New Jersey CEO Council, and Social Finance. Governor Murphy, Social Finance CEO and Co-Founder Tracy Palandjian, Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, HESAA Executive Director David Socolow, and Hudson County Community College Chief Academic Officer Darryl Jones spoke at the event.
