Jakeila Spruill

Jakeila Spruill is a dedicated paralegal at Social Finance, where she combines her legal knowledge with her commitment to driving positive change and sustainable impact in the communities we serve. As a paralegal, Jakeila supports the legal team’s corporate compliance efforts and provides administrative support to General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Navjeet Bal and Vice Presidents Leslie Cornell and Hanna Jamal.

Jakeila’s journey into the legal profession began with a BA in Legal Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she cultivated her passion for justice and advocacy. She then pursued further education and earned her master’s degree in Business Analytics. Her desire to integrate her legal knowledge with her passion for social change led her to join Social Finance.

As a paralegal, Jakeila plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s legal team in addressing issues related to impact investments, impact advisory, RIA compliance, and corporate matters.

Beyond her legal responsibilities, Jakeila also supports the Austin Office.
