Laura Spivy

Laura brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience across public and private education organizations, with a focus on nonprofit governance, finance, and development. She is currently a trustee of Social Finance and Gateway Public Schools and has previously served on the boards of San Francisco University High School, San Francisco Day School, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Fundraising Board. Laura has served extensively in board leadership roles and most recently led a $55 million fundraising campaign. She also directs her family’s philanthropy, supporting education, social justice and equity, and reproductive justice. Laura holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University. Laura and her husband Greg live in the Presidio of San Francisco with their dog Picasso, and enjoy frequent visits from their 4 children.
