Abby Silverman

Abby is an Associate Director of Communications & Public Relations at Social Finance, where she manages public relations efforts for the organization, promoting Social Finance’s innovative and impactful work.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Abby served as an Account Director at Slowey McManus Communications, where she helped clients in the public policy and nonprofit sectors utilize strategic communication to advance their mission and policy goals, while also helping organizations navigate through crisis situations.

Abby’s experience also includes serving as a Communications and Legislative Director in the Massachusetts State House, as Development and Communications Coordinator at the American Jewish Committee, and as a Field Organizer on Don Berwick’s gubernatorial campaign.

Abby earned a B.A. in Government and Anthropology from Skidmore College and an M.A. in Communication Management, with a focus on Political Communication, from Emerson College.
