The Results Act Incubator

The Results Act Request for Proposals for up to $66.3M in funding for State and local Pay for Success projects was released on February 14, 2019. 


Pay for Success is a powerful tool to help governments improve outcomes in their communities. The Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (the Results Act), established a $100 million fund to support state and local government Pay for Success (PFS) initiatives. Results Act funding will support communities in addressing chronic social issues ranging from maternal and child health, recidivism, and workforce development, to name a few.

Social Finance is offering free technical assistance (TA) to up to four government partners interested in accessing Results Act funding. Social Finance will dedicate a three person team to each government partner for up to four months to design a Pay for Success project and support the submission of a Results Act application.

Applications for technical assistance will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We will select up to four jurisdictions, and will begin providing TA in early 2019. The U.S. Department of Treasury is administering the Results Act fund; responses to the notice of funding availability are expected to be due on May 22, 2019.
