Social Finance is partnering with Acuitus, an education provider dedicated to transforming students into information technology (IT) experts, and impact investors on a Career Impact Bond. The project serves 300 students who are unemployed or underemployed, including veterans and civilians, with the objective of transitioning each graduate into the workforce and into sustainable, leading-edge IT careers.
General Assembly Career Impact Bond
Social Finance is partnering with General Assembly (GA) and impact investors to launch the first-ever Career Impact Bond. The project serves 1,000 individuals across 10 U.S. cities, enabling them to develop in-demand coding skills, prepare for sustainable careers in the booming information technology (IT) space, and ultimately achieve improved economic mobility.

Resilience Screen with The Urban Resilience Fund
Social Finance is part of a consortium of impact-oriented organizations building a Resilience Screen for 100 Resilient Cities and the Rockefeller Foundation. The screen will be used by the Rockefeller Foundation’s Urban Resilience Fund (TURF) to identify and evaluate the resilience value of infrastructure projects. TURF is a global fund dedicated to facilitating investment in resilient urban infrastructure projects, demonstrating the value of the resilience dividend, and providing support for global cities' efforts to improve their resilience. Through this project, Social Finance is leveraging its deep expertise valuing social and environmental outcomes by specifically working to develop a tool that identifies and evaluates an infrastructure project’s key resilience features, unintended consequences, and positive social and environmental co-benefits.

Outcomes rate card: Supporting children of incarcerated parents
Social Finance is working with Riverside County Executive Office to develop an outcomes rate card to improve services for children of incarcerated parents (CIP). An outcomes rate card will help Riverside County expand the range of services needed to adequately support CIP, driving resources toward high-quality service providers and meeting the diverse needs of impacted children to help set them up for long-term success.
