Ancito Etienne is a Senior Associate in the Boston office, supporting the impact advisory and impact investing teams.
Before joining Social Finance, Ancito worked at Sendwave, a fintech startup, where he led and supported Sendwave’s expansion into new countries, such as Haiti, Lebanon, and the Philippines. Previously, Ancito worked as a consultant at the World Bank, where he conducted research on the effectiveness of Special Economic Zones in the Dominican Republic and coordinated the implementation of urban development projects to improve selected urban infrastructure and public spaces in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.
Ancito holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, with a concentration in Economic Development, as well as a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences. He also holds a BA in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Lynchburg, where he received several awards, including the Best Research Presentation Award (2017), the Sheila Garren Outstanding International Student Award (2017), and the Robert Macauley Caring Award (2017).
Ancito serves on the boards of Partners In Health, Beyond Borders, and IFSI-USA.
