Mazie McLeod is Controller of Social Finance where she develops and guides the financial strategy, reporting, budgeting and risk management of the organization. Mazie combines her 18 years’ experience managing audits, operations and staff with her deep commitment to innovating solutions to social challenges.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Mazie was the Manager of Accounting Operations at Senior Whole Health, a health insurance company in Massachusetts and New York. There she was responsible for all aspects of budgeting, financial planning and analysis for this rapidly growing enterprise. Prior to this, Mazie was Controller of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, where she handled all financial accounting for this $40M non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Mazie began her career at Coopers & Lybrand where she earned her CPA certificate in the states of California and Massachusetts. Mazie graduated magna cum laude from Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Accounting and earned her MBA degree cum laude from Northeastern University.
